Job Description
Job Title: Claims Philosophy Developer
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Remote Working or any Royal London office location (Edinburgh Glasgow Alderley Edge London)
About the role
- Lead the delivery of improvements to claims philosophy from design to implementation
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
- Support senior leaders in implementing and embedding the Risk Management System
- Establish develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholder e.g. reinsurers proposition team Group Customer Services
- Ensure key business risks are fully understood controlled and mitigated on the team to ensure local plans are delivered and we meet our regulatory requirements
- Use data to understand trends and inform change
About you
- Expert in Life CI and disability claims assessment and management
- A detailed knowledge of Risk Management practices and control mechanisms
- Experience of philosophy and/or proposition development
- A sound understanding of legal and regulatory matters that affect claims and underwriting
- Driven to deliver excellent customer outcomes
- An ability to use data to inform and support philosophy developments
- Good planning co-ordination and organisation skills
- Good people management skills
- Ability to listen communicate challenge and influence team members immediate peer group and senior business management
- Relationship and stakeholder management skills
