Summer Classroom Assistants are needed to support the Summer Jumpstart program for the Rochester Community Schools. Applications for these temporary positions will be accepted until filled.
Paraeducators will be expected to support implementation of instructional techniques that will lead to improved student achievement. Emphasis will be given to higher level thinking skills organization skills integration of knowledge connecting learning to prior knowledge cooperative learning active participation of the learner and integration of technology. Actual numbers of positions are dependent upon the enrollment.
LOCATION:Hamlin Elementary
August 11 - August14 (In person M-TH)
Hours: 8:00 am 11:30 am
QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY:Hourly rate (funded by the Early Literacy Grant) contingent on working all days

Selection of an individual to fill these temporary positions will be determined by the Summer Learning Program administrators based upon applicant experience qualifications and professional attributes.
