Job Description
POSITION:
Administrative Assistant - School Year; Part-Time
Guidance Office
Furnace Brook Middle School
(20 hours per week)
STARTING DATE:
August 26 2025

Clerical Personnel Salary Schedule
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP ORLINE OF AUTHORITY:
Reports directly to Building Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate Associates preferred.
- Office and computer experience required including familiarity with Windows Excel Google Calendar and other basic Google Applications(student management System-Aspen program preferred).
- Typing filing telephone and organizational skills required. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to schedule meetings follow procedural guidelines adhere to timelines and maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to use interpretation and translation tools to communicate with families as needed.
- Experience in school system preferred.
- Prior experience with the school registration process and/or Section 504 is helpful but not required.
