Full Stack Software Engineer (React/TypeScript/)
- Full Stack Software Engineer
- Remote-working
- 6 month contract (Outside IR35)
- 450 to 475 per day
The Opportunity:
Were looking to bring in a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong experience in React as well as solid knowledge of TypeScript and particularly for Greenfield application development. This role is ideal for someone who can join at the inception stage of a new project and take ownership of transforming prototype requirements into production-quality solutions. The focus will be on full stack development with React (front-end) as a key area of expertise and (back-end) forming the supporting foundation.
Candidates must be comfortable operating in a fast-moving start-up style environment bringing creativity and initiative to shaping both the product and technical solutions. You will be an effective communicator and collaborative team member keen to make an impact on a large-scale public-sector project for a leading Digital Transformation consultancy.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in Greenfield software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and .
- Solid front-end development experience using React.
- Proficient in GraphQL design and implementation.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD and cloud-based environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working in early-stage or agile teams with high autonomy.
Familiarity with Geospatial technologies is a plus including tools such as:
- MapLibre
- MapTiler
- CesiumJS
- Mapbox
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine prototypes into well-defined technical solutions.
- Design build and maintain backend services using and GraphQL.
- Develop high-quality frontend components using React and TypeScript.
- Participate in early architectural decisions and technical direction of the product.
- Write clean scalable and maintainable code with appropriate testing.
- Actively contribute to team discussions code reviews and agile development cycles.
NB: Candidates must be eligible for BPSS security clearance which will processed following successful interviews (7-10 days).
