Join our Ladies & Gentlemen - Demi Chef (Atria)
At The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne culinary presentations are a statement of craftsmanship. We are seeking a passionate Demi Chef (Atria Signature Restaurant) to help our kitchen team in delivering exceptional dishes for fine dining on a Full-Time basis.
Only candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered.
What youll do:
- Preparation and production of all hot or cold food items for buffet and a la carte menu to ensure that they are in compliance with the prescribed recipes and specifications.
- Supports and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies standards and procedures.
- Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards.
- Recognizes superior quality products presentations and flavor.
- Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements for the food operation (e.g. restaurant banquet pastry shop).
- Communications production needs to key personnel.
- Produces production prep list.
Who were looking for:
- A deep passion for the culinary arts.
- Exceptional technical expertise in culinary techniques.
- Strong creativity and innovation in flavor and presentation.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Previous experience in luxury hotels or hatted restaurants is highly regarded.
- Skilled in pans and wood-fire cooking techniques.
- Able to work across lunch and dinner service operations as required.
- A self-motivated and collaborative team player.
- A dedicated individual who strives for continuous growth excellence and expanding their culinary horizons.
