Job Description
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in Pre-K elementary and/or middle school students in an academic and/or before or after-school setting preferred.
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Desire to actively engage students in meaningful activities.
- Desire to be a role model for our younger students.
- Ability to apply and model Wakefield Memorial High Schools mission statement and core values for our students and staff.
Description of Duties:
- Model WMHS Mission Statement and Core Values while engaging ourstudents and staff.
- Engage and support students in our program with academic social skills and other fun/social-based activities.
- Assist adult staff with student engagement and structured/free play.
- Assist adult staff prior to the start of Academic and/or Enrichment programs.
- Assist adult staff with transitioning students to different activities schedules as well as arrival and dismissal.
