Job Description
Job Title: Senior Childcare Practitioner
Location: Sunderland SR2
Salary: 36192 (Base)
Working Hours: 2 on / 4 off shift pattern
Number of Sleeps Required: 810 per month
Pay Per Sleep: 52 per night
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs aged 717 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or recognised equivalent)
Experience in Years Required: Previous experience in residential childcare or a related field
Employment Type: Permanent

Who we are looking for
Someone with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people
A calm consistent and nurturing individual
Must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Must have a Full UK Driving Licence
Must be 21 or over (Ofsted requirement)

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care this is not deemed equivalent
You have only worked in healthcare NHS CQC or as a Nursery Practitioner this experience is not suitable
You require sponsorship no sponsorship available
You have only worked in a CQC setting and not an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
