JOB SUMMARY:

Has responsibility for the management and/or financial performance of client development for a service line division department or region. Provides business management and leadership by developing and implementing intermediate and short-term goals and objectives for area of responsibility. Supports and executes continuous improvement efforts in assigned division and/or department that impacts processes and practices. Leads client specific projects that have broad impact within department to grow or maintain clients and/or growth initiatives. With support from leadership creates and implements short and medium term plans to engage with and obtain opportunities from clients. Provides high level management and/or guidance to ensure that client needs are met ensures the efficient use of resources cost structure and works with service delivery within a regionalized geographic area market sector or division. Executes components of respective business plan (e.g. recruitment business development client selection project delivery safety client service) and shows commitment to the Braun Intertec Annual Operating Plan to achieve balanced score card goals within a division geography or department. Supports a collaborative team environment and facilitates relationships within the division to capitalize on mutually beneficial trust-based partnership with Human Resources and leadership supports strategies to attract recruit and retain high-caliber employees to perform critical roles within area of responsibility. Make decisions with guidance for situations with precedent to ensure department and/or division objectives are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The overall functional responsibility for Client Development generally includes leading strategic growth efforts across the division protecting existing revenue and continually assessing opportunities for additional revenue streams finding new sources of revenue within targeted markets or geographies and implementing strategies that fill the long-term pipeline.

Manage strategic vision and plan for the team for the team in accordance with operating division

strategy.

Manage effective client development strategies at scale and plans that align with business

goals.

Capture metric information for use in continuous improvement of areas of responsibility.

Identify inefficiencies and accelerate process development to improve client development and service delivery.

Ensure team adherence to financial goals.

Maintain compliance with business development budgets.

Association and event planning and participation.

Manage project client and business-related risk through our Authority Grant policy.

Position and pursue project opportunities.

Prepare project proposals and provide technical review of deliverables as needed. Foster relationships with current and new clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to grow strategic partnerships.

Collaborate with other division leaders to facilitate cross-selling aligning regional and local business development goals with divisional growth goals and ensuring accountability for the overall execution

As needed performing technical work and supporting project deliverables on more complex environmental compliance projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree

Experience and/or Training: Ten years professional experience in a related field five years experience in a leadership role

Licenses/Certificates: TBD based on specific role

Technology/Equipment: Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

Essential: Hearing and vision (both correctable) continuous sitting or standing at desk or workstation wrist turning grasping pinching and finger manipulation other physical requirements typical of working on a computer and talking on a phone (65%-100% of the time worked); frequent walking lifting or carrying up to 10 lbs turning and twisting (30%-64% of the time worked); occasional reaching lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs and push/pull up to 10 lbs (11%-29% of the time worked); rarely taste/smell stooping kneeling crawling climbing ladders lifts or scaffolding (0-9% of the time worked).

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work/Environment

Usually will be an office environment using computer telephone other office equipment as needed to perform duties; frequent interruptions throughout day likely. Sometimes will be a jobsite environment which can be outside in all weather conditions and/or tightly enclosed areas and can have uneven walking surfaces.

Travel Requirements

Position requires offsite travel (locally and throughout United States) typically 5-8% annually.

$118500.00 - $177000.00
