Salary:Currently $49638.36-$92138.12 (DOE) prorated based upon FTE still being negotiated for 2025-2026.

Insurance:Generous Health dental and vision contribution from the district currently up to $2202 (based upon family coverage) prorated based upon FTE TBD for2025-2026.

PERS Retirement:The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

KLAMATHLEARNING CENTER @ EAGLE RIDGE NEW TECH HS:

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible part-time high school teacher to support evening instruction from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This position is ideal for educators who are passionate about working with diverse learners in a non-traditional setting. This classroom is located on the secure Eagle Ridge New Tech High Schools campus.

FUNCTION:To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual emotional and psychological growth and maturation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Certified Teacher will support Klamath Learning Centers 9-12 Homeschool Program Diploma and/or GED program.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills strong communication skills be a successful independent worker and be a team player.

-Keep all families informed about student progress as needed;

-Return/respond to all calls and emails in a timely manner (typically within 24 work-hours);

-Maintain exceptional people skills and a welcoming clean and orderly office environment;

-Document all contact with parents and students;

-Be on-site for tutoring drop-ins and to proctor exams;

-Help build school culture to create a community within the team and between families.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

-Hold or qualify foran OregonTeaching License.

-Mathematics or ELA Endorsement preferred but not required.
