Responsibilities:
- Sprays manufactured products with protective or decorative paint enamel or lacquer.
- Perform all aspects of the finishing process for Dayton-Grangers parts including sanding buffing and masking products prior to sanding or painting when needed
- Remove mask and touch-up painted surfaces prior to presentation to quality inspection.
- Buffing or polishing any imperfection on units to meet our workmanship and industry standards for parts finishing.
- Assigned other tasks by management.
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and the ability to interpret blueprints
- Must have knowledge of and experience with all areas related to the processes of sanding filling priming and painting.
- Must be able to work long periods of time wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Regularly required to stand or sit and move about the facility.
- Basic computer skills.
