Job Description
Primary Function of Position
This role will be responsible for providing financial analyses and oversight to the functional executives ofUS NPI Manufacturing for Ion division within the Global Operations organization as they drive both strategic and tactical recommendations. Such responsibilities will include budgeting forecasting and actuals analyses for operational expenses and provide insights / optimization recommendations. This position will also partner with the Global Operations FP&A team to bring insights and communicate key business strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for tracking examining and reporting financials for US Manufacturing Ion Business Unit
- Drive financial analysis to optimize Manufacturing Operations including Build plans labor material and scrap insights
- Help long range models annual budget & quarterly forecast planning and month-end close
- Design & deliver insightful financial reporting/dashboards economic valuation and ROI models to influence key business decisions
- Create and maintain value-added insights and key operational KPIs for senior management teams
- Develop and maintain capacity models and efficiency metrics to help resource allocation recommendations
- Partner with functional business teams to ensure full alignment in product costing and financial operations assumptions
- Proactively identify drive and execute process improvements by leveraging best practices standardization and automation to scale routine activities
- Partner and liaise with Global Operations and other factory site FP&A teams on relevant timelines and deliverables to ensure alignment in financial reporting and projections.
- Ad hoc data discovery and insights
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience involving budgeting forecasting and insights
- Ability to consistently discern strategic insights from data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including experience building financial models involving complex formulas and large data sets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ability to interact effectively with business partners at varying levels management and cross functional teams
- Proven self-starter with ability to work in a cross-functional fast-paced environment
- Fast high quality execution of quantitative work with attention to detail
- Regularly anticipate future challenges and business needs and anticipate follow-ups and secondary implications
- This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale CA office Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday every week
Required Education and Training
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Economics related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL Snowflake and Tableau preferred

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience skills and qualifications.
