July 29 2025TO:ALL ADMINSTRATIVE ASSISTANTS BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLSFROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT VACANCY According to the terms of the contract the following position is being ASSISTANT-FACILITIES OFFICE 12 MONTHS SCHEDULE 4DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: computer skills including the use of word processing spreadsheets database and to use the Munis system for requisitions purchase orders work orders and create to communicate in a courteous efficient and professional to meet deadlines to accurately follow detailed instructions to work with personnel from the school department the city and the private to identify and pursue departmental needs with minimal to maintain confidentiality and work with a team secretarial training or related work experience clerical functions in support of the Brockton Public Schools Facilities vendor account payment/management other duties assigned by the Director of FacilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:The candidate should be self-starter flexible able to take direction willingly and complete tasks in a timely manner to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Facilities OfficeAbility to communicate in a courteous efficient and professional mannerProficiency with keyboarding and mathematical skills requiredProficiency in MS Word and MS ExcelAbility to complete tasks without supervisionFurther duties responsibilities and expectations of this position will be discussed with each applicant at the time of the note: Brockton residency must be established within one year of initial Deadline: August 5 Brockton Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and as such is committed to fostering an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives and backgrounds are order to better serve our students and the community the District seeks to build a work force that reflects diversity of race color ancestry ethnicity national origin religion age gender marital/domestic partner status sexual orientation gender identity and expression disability status pregnancy or pregnancy-related medical condition and veteran/military status.
