Job Description
Job Summary:
Cooler Production Assembler: Performs precision mechanical assembly for Cryocooler Production. Performs the required processes of cleaning documenting and testing of piece parts subassemblies and finished goods. Utilizes production tooling computers and equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. Collaborate with a team of Coworkers Managers and Engineering for Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement efforts.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Precision mechanical assembly and precision adhesive application following work instructions
Part inspection and metrology (microscopes calipers micrometers dial indicators etc.)
Perform measurements and tests from test procedures and document results
Miscellaneous support functions as necessary
Job Qualifications:
Ability to work using hands and have good manual dexterity with attention to detail
Basic computer skills - Outlook Excel Word
Must be able to communicate clearly and be able to read and write using the English language
Desired skills:
Cryocooler Assembly and/or Cryocooler/Dewar integration
Familiarity with Lean and 5S methods
Familiarity with Camstar or equivalent
Familiarity with Lab and ESD procedures
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Salary Range:
$32300.00-$43100.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
