Job Description

For one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire an experienced Scientist with a focus on LC-MS method development and method transfer. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Development of analytical methods for the quantification of detergents using LC-MS(triple quadrupole) for plasma-derived and recombinant products according to AQbD principles
  • Handle and interpret complex data independently
  • Prepare and review documentation including method procedures validation protocols and transfer reports
  • Collaboration with different departments in method transfer activities (internal and external QC sites)
  • Routine measurement of provided process test samples
  • Review and communicate analytical results effectively across teams

Qualifications :

For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with:

  • Masters or PhD in Analytical Sciences Pharmaceutical Sciences Biochemistry or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong background in HPLC and LC-MS method development/troubleshooting
  • Proven proficiency in technical writing (e.g. publications thesis project reports)
  • Independent planning and execution of analytical projects and result communication (reports PPTs etc.)
  • Proficiency in German and English written and spoken
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Team-oriented with a flexible and collaborative personality
  • Understanding of GxP requirements

The minimum salary according to the collective agreement (Vewendungsgruppe III) for this position is at least EUR 2633.91 (2025). Due to the responsible and demanding tasks and with appropriate qualifications an appropriate overpayment is envisaged.
