NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY
COMPANY: Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation
LOCATION: 4201 Marsh Lane Carrollton TX 75007
TITLE: Data Scientist
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES:
Collaborate with various stakeholders and departments to support data-driven decision-making.
Develop data models and algorithms to support recommendations and analysis of historical data.
Develop processes to monitor model and data accuracy.
Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize revenue generation user experience and various other business outcomes.
Lead and develop an A/B testing framework and test model quality within the enterprise data services team.
Participate in sprint planning and goal setting for the Enterprise Data Services objectives.
Apply statistical analysis AI/ML and programming to identify patterns in data learn from the data and analyze the data.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in Business Analytics Mathematics Statistics or related.
Four (4) years in any occupation with data analysis or related experience.
Four (4) years in any occupation with data analysis or related experience must include (Experience can be gained before or after university education): Experience in statistical and data mining techniques such as Regression Random Forest text mining etc.; Experience using advanced ML algorithms and statistics such as decision trees neural networks simulation modeling etc.; Experience using the Azure ecosystem SQL Server Snowflake CosmosDB and other industry standard platforms; PowerBI for analysis and visualization; R Python PySpark Koalas Pandas or SQL languages; Distributed data/computing tools such as Hive Spark Hadoop etc.; Using tools to visualize data for business stakeholders; Databricks; and MLFlow.
TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE:
Reports to the company office in Carrollton TX. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.
SALARY:$140109 $141109 per year
