Job Description
As Marqetas Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for leading technical workstreams or initiatives coordinating work across engineering teams to deliver complex projects on time and within scope.
The Impact Youll Have
- Drive technical projects from concept to completion managing scope schedule and resources
- Identify dependencies risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between engineering product design and business teams
- Lead technical planning estimation and prioritization sessions
- Document technical decisions and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and remove obstacles for engineering teams
- Balance technical tradeoffs with business requirements and timelines
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field
- 3 years of technical program/project management experience
- Strong understanding of relevant technologies software development methodologies and processes (S-SDLC)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and development practices
- Ability to understand complex technical systems and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice-To-Haves
- PMP Scrum Master or other relevant certification
- Experience with project management tools (Jira Asana etc.)
- Data analysis and visualization skills
- Experience in electronic payments and accounting systems
