Now Hiring: Train Cleaner in Kewdale
Ventia is looking for a reliable Train Cleaner to help maintain our fleet tidy and safe.
Shifts available across afternoon and evening - ideal for those needing short work hours.

- Leadership experience preferred with the opportunity to step in as Acting Supervisor when needed.

Position:Train Cleaner
Contract: Permanent Part-Time
Pay Rate:from $29.67 per hour plus penalties and Superannuation
Location:TransWA Prospector Maintenance Depot Kewdale
Shift Schedule:
- Monday to Friday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm
PLUS
- Monday from 10:30pm to 12:30am
- Friday from 9:00pm to 1:00am
You must be available for all listed shifts may run longer if trains are delayed.
Shifts may be extended to 1:00pm 6:00pm to cover supervisor absences.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize train interiors (seats floors tables windows)Empty trash bins and maintain restroomsVacuum carpets and clean upholstery
Disinfect high-touch surfaces (handrails door handles)
Occasionally clean the trains exterior
Act as site supervisor when absent: oversee cleaning team ensure tasks are completed to standard report issues and communicate with management

To be considered you must:
Be able to lift carry kneel perform cleaning tasks and stand for over 2 hours
Hold a recent National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
Be able to pass random medical and drug & alcohol tests
