Job Description
Ventia is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the delivery of a newly expanded scope under its existing contract with NBN Co driving critical infrastructure upgrades across the ACT.
Youll be responsible for recruiting and leading a high-performing team managing subcontractors and ensuring project delivery meets client expectations and regulatory standards. This role can be based in Canberra or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the NBN N2P contract in the ACT including team recruitment program execution stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation.
- Ensure contractual compliance manage risks and opportunities and drive project profitability through accurate forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
- Champion a strong safety culture conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team aligned with Ventias values fostering a collaborative and client-focused culture.
- Implement quality control measures and promote innovation to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.
About You
- Experienced in project management working in infrastructure services.
- Telecommunications experience highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of ACT regulations and local authorities is preferred.
- Bring strong leadership and communication skills strategic problem-solving ability and a solid grasp of commercial financial safety and quality management to drive project success.
