Position overview:
The Shift Manager is responsible for building and leading an effective cohesive and committed team which will maintain maximum safety quality spoilage and production standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being the ambassador of Balls culture driving the right behaviours amongst all plant employees
- Responsible for the production process as a whole in accordance with the planned performance
- Responsible for material and tooling supply
- Ensure job distribution and arrangement within shift
- Effectively manage all areas of manufacturing (includes safety quality production scrap personnel issues etc.)
- Prepare production reports
- Take part in development and maintenance of the integrated management system
- Undertake the responsibilities of Quality Control Manager and Mechanical Supervisor during holiday and night shifts
- Detect beforehand the problems that can avoid production and ensure them to be solved
- Ensure cleanness of production areas and machineries as providing all workers pay attention to this matter
What are we looking for
- Previous experience in a people leading role within manufacturing industry and24/7 environment
- Problem solving/total quality skills
- Analytical skills to interpret numerical data
- Good understanding of modern lean manufacture technique
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practices
- Fluency in written and spoken English
