Job Description
Summary
As a YA Regional Consultant you will provide high quality consulting services relating to property restoration property defects casualty and losses of significance for YAs customers which include insurance companies third-party adjusters and independent businesses and insureds. YA Regional Consultants are responsible for the management of each of our clients business and operations in defining and controlling costs associated with damaged structures. Regional Consultants are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement considering and weighing alternatives when appropriate consideringthe financial and operational significance of the services being performed.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conducts inspections and field assessments to evaluate structure and property damage for clients.
- Reviews and synthesizes relevant information to prepare damage estimates scopes and project reports.
- Manages field work on large multi-consultants projects.
- Performs analysis of invoices budgets schedules and reports on behalf of the clients.
- Operates on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines expenses and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction.
- Communicates and corresponds regularly with clients insurance companies adjusters and insureds.
- Leads regular client meetings and supports business development initiatives.
- Provides technical oversight and support and management to more junior consultants.
- Maintains job files documentation and other relevant deliverables.
- Manages and oversees clients interactions supporting and mentoring junior consultants.
- Provides quality control reviews of junior consultant work product prior to submission to the client.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of relevant construction restoration project management or insurance experience
- Advanced Xactimate experience required
- WRT FSRT HAAG or other appropriate industry certificates or certifications
- Ability to travel required
Salary range: $61.000 - $98000 bonus opportunity
** Title and pay will be commensurate with experience
