Position Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Commit to a welcoming supportive and non-judgmental approach with all clients callers and coworkers
- Provide animals with food water enrichment and other essential daily needs
- Maintain clean animal housing following our high-standard cleaning guidelines
- Provide initial exams and vaccinations to animals at time of intake
- Administer medical treatments under the direction of a veterinarian
- Maintain accurate and objective records in our animal management software
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
- Work cooperatively within your own department and cross departmentally
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Availability to work some evenings a weekend shift and a rotating holiday
- Able to successfully meet the physical demands of the job which include stooping kneeling crouching crawling standing walking pulling lifting grasping talking hearing and repetitive motions.Must be able to routinely lift and carry 25lbs to 50 lbs.

- Prior animal care experience is a plus
