Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to provide support to internal and external customers by handling low-to-medium cost and complexity claims file inquiries evaluating and auditing claims escalating issues when needed and maintaining accurate documentation to align with corporate objectives and contribute to departmental success.
Location: Ramsey Minnesota or Fargo North Dakota
Work Arrangement: This role will require 3 days/week in the office. The hours for this role are 7:30am-4:15pm CST Monday through Thursday and 7:30am-12pm CST on Fridays.
The starting salary range for this role is between $23.75/hour and $35.50/hour depending on experience.
Your New Role:
- Provide claims customer service support by analysing and responding to low-to-medium cost and complexity claims inquiries escalating issues as needed.
- Gather and evaluate relevant information for claims maintaining accurate documentation and resolving outstanding issues to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Support internal and external customers by analysing claims files to identify leakages and compliance issues in the claims process.
- Follow established guidelines and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance claims handling.
- Communicate claims file status and details with relevant stakeholders to support effective customer service delivery.
- Assist with audits for specialty crops and higher dollar claims investigating concerns to ensure policy compliance.
- Participate in analyst onboarding by sharing technical knowledge and training new team members.
- Cultivate claims support skills and knowledge through peer advice cross-training and personal development.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Some relevant work experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Experience with crop insurance.
- Experience with claim processing.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Secondary school certification.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the roles complexity its location and the candidates professional background including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBEs annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual encourage all candidates to apply even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
