Main Function
Demonstrate that the number one goal of the Facilities Department is to support the ability of all the other ministries to effectively accomplish their ministry work.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Clear understanding of and commitment to modeling our RPC Staff Values
- Reports to and assists the Facility Director supporting both campuses
- Complete scheduled maintenance routines in eSpace (Facility Management System)
- Schedule vendors and oversee their work as needed to complete routine inspections e.g. backflow fire panels sprinklers etc.
- Complete building and grounds scheduled maintenance on time
- Complete church vehicle maintenance routines e.g. oil changes tire inspections & rotations wiper blade replacements annual vehicle inspections renew annual registrations keep insurance cards current etc.
- Add or modify eSpace maintenance routines as needed
- Complete all repairs to facility components that are within your capability
- Manage inventory of building equipment spare parts and supplies
- Help maintain high-quality building standards to support various ministry needs
- Proactively and regularly review the appearance and functionality of the buildings grounds and furnishings; document issues and complete repairs as needed
- Apply sound problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify corrective actions
- Apply technical abilities and quality hands-on maintenance/repair skills to correct issues
- Effectively manage assigned projects in a quality cost-effective manner
- Help fill in for the Facility Manager(s) during absences vacations or vacancies
- Some heavy lifting will be required
- Be willing to show others how to use our building facilities and processes effectively
- Work with other ministries to improve facilities processes & procedures
- Ask others how we can more effectively support them
- Handle and safeguard confidential church information
- Typical work week is Sunday through Thursday (allowing time for you to attend Sunday services)
- Days and hours may vary week-to-week depending on the demands of events &/or projects
- Actively attend Sunday worship services
- Attend required staff meetings (1st & 3rd Tuesdays monthly team meetings)
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Skills & Attributes
- Basic knowledge of or ability to learn platforms/media used by RockPointe Church: Bamboo TouchPoint eSpace Nexonia etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel Outlook SharePoint Teams)
- Task-oriented mindset

Required Experience:
IC
