Job Description
Job Title: Mechanic / MOT Tester
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Up to 37000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / MOT Tester to join a respected independent garage located just outside central Cambridge. If you value doing things properly and enjoy working in a friendly skilled team that takes pride in every vehicle this is a great opportunity.
Youll be involved in all aspects of vehicle maintenance diagnostics repairs and MOT testing. The work is varied and hands-onno production-line servicing here. Youll work with a range of makes and models and have access to quality tools and equipment in a supportive workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards (beneficial but not essential)

Service and maintain a variety of vehicles

Diagnose faults and complete repairs accurately

Log work thoroughly and ensure a high standard of service

Collaborate with a small experienced team of technicians
Requirements:

MOT licence (Class 4) preferred but not essential

At least 3 years experience as a vehicle technician

Confident in diagnostics and fault finding

Self-motivated reliable and able to manage your workload

Full UK driving licence
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM

No weekend work
