Class Summary





Job Description
This position will be required to perform work on highly specialized equipment installing and maintaining pumps valves and other plant process systems associated with Water Reclamation Facilities.

Essential Duties
Directing personnel in the proper repair/ replacement of equipment. The employee must be able to trouble-shoot equipment to determine the cause of any problems and make accurate and timely decision with respect to repairs and /or replacements.

Minimum Qualifications
Trades Technician II:

Level II (Grade B213) - $43238 - $56210
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two years of trades experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Class A Commercial Drivers License must be obtained with 12 months of employment.
  • Valid Drivers License

Trades Technician III:

Level III (Grade B233) - $51237 - $66608
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Four years of trades experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Class A Commercial Drivers License must be obtained with 12 months of employment.
  • Valid Drivers License

Trades Technician IV:

Level IV (Grade B313) - $55721 - $72437
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Five years of progressively responsible mechanical or electrical trades experience some of which is in a supervisory capacity
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
  • Valid drivers license

Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Other Job Requirements/Information
  • This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
  • This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours weekends and/or holidays.
