Location: Brighton MI Onsite Full-Time

Base Salary: $110K$120K Commission (based on net profit)
About the Opportunity:
Looking for a seasonedStrategic Account Managerto strengthen and grow our relationships with General Contractor (GC) clients across the Michigan this high-impact role youll serve as the go-to liaison for key accounts coordinating closely with project managers estimators and field teams to ensure timely on-budget project execution while keeping client satisfaction front and center.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with deep roots in the construction industry.
What Youll Do:
- Serve as the main point of contact for general contractor clients building trust securing repeat business and ensuring satisfaction
- Coordinate across departments (PMs estimators field teams) to deliver on client expectations and keep projects moving smoothly
- Monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables; communicate updates and resolve client issues quickly
- Lead contract negotiations pricing discussions and scope alignment with new and existing clients
- Collaborate with the estimating team to develop winning proposals that match client needs
- Develop new business opportunities reconnect with former clients and pursue new GC relationships across Michigan
- Provide reporting to leadership on account status risks wins and strategic opportunities
- Stay informed on competitor activity and local market trends to inform strategic growth
Who You Are:
- 35 years of experience in account management sales or client relations within the construction or general contracting space
- Strong knowledge of construction processes including estimating bidding project management and scheduling
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent client communication and attention to detail
- Comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings specs and contracts
- A proactive networker who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building lasting business relationships
- Familiarity with CRM tools Microsoft Office Suite and construction management platforms
