Job Description
Overview
At CHI Health Midlands we proudly serve Sarpy County and surrounding areas in Nebraska with patient-focused care. When designing our facility we kept the patient viewpoint in mind setting a tone for a more comfortable less stressful hospital stay. Also we offer high quality care in diagnostics/radiology womens care home care orthopedics sleep and breathing disorders.
Responsibilities
What youll do:
- Operates high-pressure boilers.
- Operates chillers and absorbers.
- Compiles water treatment reports.
- Performs maintenance on boilers chillers pumps steam pipes and related machinery.
- Operates automated building control computer and makes corrections as required.
- Operates/adjusts air handling equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Performs routine inspections of mechanical rooms.
- Performs building maintenance.
- Maintains established department policies procedures and objectives concerning quality assurance safety environmental conditions and infection control.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- One (1) year of electro-mechanical experience and good knowledge of hand tools.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must have the ability to analyze electro-mechanical problems and determine repairs needed; must have the ability to perform repairs after needs are determined.
- 3rd grade stationary engineer (obatin within 1 year)
- Valid Drivers License.
