About the Position Position/Specialty: OR RN ***9-Weeks*** Shift: 4x10s 7a-5p # of OR s: 12 Is on-call REQ (Y/N): Yes 2 star call till 7pm per week and every 3rd-4th weekend call Weekend REQ: every 3rd to 4th as needed Will this traveler float between service lines (Y/N) No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: (Y/N) No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: Minimum of 5 years in the acute care operating room setting (well rounded - strong in general neuro ortho ENT GYN) First time travelers accepted: Yes if they have a broad scope of specialty competency License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certs REQ: BLS Trauma Level REQ: We are a Level 3 trauma center Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on units needs Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule Locals Accepted: No local travelers accepted RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Total Staffed Beds: 276 Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: None Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
