This position is a first-line greeter in a 125-seat restaurant with adjacent 40 seat dining area. As a working supervisor this position sets up and tears down banquet facilities and ensures serving personnel are scheduled. Duties include greeting and seating guests explaining menu items and specials assisting with resolving complaints handling monetary transactions supervising employees and preparing work schedules. The Facility Manager is required to work weekends and some holidays with a varied work schedule. Applicant must have excellent public relations skills a valid drivers license and be 21 years of age or older as this position is required to serve alcohol. A criminal background check will be performed.

Job Summary
The Facility Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations maintenance and logistics of state-owned facilities to ensure they remain safe functional and compliant with state and federal regulations. This position plays a key role in scheduling maintenance managing facility use coordinating with contractors and supporting operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor daily facility operations ensuring that buildings equipment and grounds are maintained in good working in scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance repairs and facility that safety and compliance standards are met including OSHA ADA and environmental and report facility issues ensuring timely resolution through maintenance teams or staff by interviewing recommending staff for hire/fire assigning and reviewing work counseling and evaluating the performance of with inventory management of maintenance supplies and facility reservations and space utilization for meetings events and department facility access security and visitor procedures in coordination with relevant in developing and enforcing facility policies and guidelines for state employees and emergency preparedness by maintaining evacuation plans and emergency contact in managing vendor relationships ensuring timely and cost-effective coordinate contracts for cleaning landscaping security and maintenance contractor compliance with state procurement policies and service facility records including maintenance logs inspection reports and service in budget tracking and expense reporting for facility-related input on cost-saving initiatives and resource allocation to improve procurement of supplies and equipment as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of facility operations maintenance procedures and safety with building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and security to use facility management software and work order tracking of state procurement and contract management organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with staff vendors and of inventory control purchasing and procurement procedures and customer to greet customers and provide information concerning services and functions of the to plan organize and oversee the work of subordinates and coordinate work activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of one year of facility management experience.
