Transformation Programme Senior Analyst (FTC)

Fixed-Term Contract 12 months

What youll be doing

The role will be part of the Transformation PMO in the Business Transformation team. The TPMO is responsible for providing overview and coordination across the Business Transformation Programme ensuring project governance and management oversight of key milestones & deliverables. Additionally the role will involve managing the financial aspects of the programme ensuring budget adherence and financial efficiency.

  • Development maintenance and control of the Programme plan and reporting.

  • Engage influence and challenge the Initiative leads to ensure that the programme plan is robust efficient and prioritised.

  • Ensure that delivery risks or risks to the critical path are clearly identified and communicated and provide support in the identification and implementation of responsive actions.

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of other materials for key Governance forums e.g. Business Transformation Board Digital Planning Approval Meeting ENET and SP Board.

  • Provide dedicated TPMO support to larger initiatives ensuring adherence with the Transformation Governance framework and driving delivery in line with the plan escalating any risks or issues as appropriate.

  • Manage the financial aspects of the programme including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.

  • Monitor and control programme expenditure to ensure alignment with the approved budget.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and financial efficiencies within the programme.

What youll bring

  • Significant experience of SAP/PM systems.

  • Good understanding of project governance and controls.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.

  • Experience in a financial role for a utility or Digital company.

  • High degree of IT literacy.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management ability.

  • Good understanding of benefit management and realisation.

  • Proven experience in managing the financial aspects of large programmes including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify financial risks and opportunities.

As a minimum you will demonstrate:

  • Experience managing programme finances including budgeting forecasting and reporting.

  • Strong stakeholder and governance skills able to influence and manage senior stakeholders.

  • Proficient in SAP/PM systems with solid IT and analytical skills.
