Field Maintenance Technician TheField Maintenance Technicianis responsible for performing a variety of maintenance repair and service tasks at client or company locations. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry and general facility upkeep. The technician must work independently maintain a professional demeanor and utilize their own tools and reliable vehicle to complete assignments efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. Our Maintenance Technician must comply with applicable laws LEL policies and procedures manual and support LEL Hom Services LLCs Mission and Vision. Reports to: HR Organizational Readiness Specialist Key Responsibilities: - Travel to client or company sites to perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on equipment facilities or systems
- Perform inspections identify issues and carry out general repairs related to:
- Electrical plumbing carpentry HVAC and mechanical systems
- Furniture appliances (washers dryers dishwashers) door hardware locks and interior finishes
- Clear clogs in drains and toilets; ensure water systems function properly
- Complete minor patchwork painting and other surface repairs as needed
- Use own tools and vehicle to complete assigned jobs (mileage reimbursement may be available)
- Complete work orders maintenance logs and reports with accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate job status additional repair needs and recommendations to management and clients
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational protocols
- Maintain a clean organized and professional work area on-site
- Respond promptly to service requests and resolve issues efficiently
- Independently make decisions and complete repairs without direct supervision
- May be responsible for purchasing materials (with receipts) when necessary
- Remove snow and ice from driveways and sidewalks; apply salt or sand to prevent slipping hazards
- Return all messages left through the means designated within twenty-four (24) hours of its receipt.

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred
- 2 years of experience in maintenance repair or related trade
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques including electrical plumbing carpentry and mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of maintenance issues
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable personal vehicle
- Must own and maintain a full set of basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand walk bend stoop kneel climb ladders and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift carry and move objects up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Visual acuity to perform detailed work and read equipment manuals diagrams and safety labels
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments including indoor/outdoor settings and inclement weather
- Ability to drive to multiple job sites daily using personal vehicle
- May be required to work in confined spaces at heights or in areas with loud noise or strong odors
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
