Job #1444: Digital Print Technician
Location: Rhome Tx
Job Type: Full Time: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm
Pay: $16/Hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Digital Print Technician with 68 months of hands-on experience operating Roland wide-format printers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a fast-paced print production environment. This role is critical in producing high-quality prints for signage displays and custom graphics.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate and maintain Roland wide-format printers (e.g. VersaCAMM TrueVIS)
-Load and align print media with accuracy
-Manage print queues color profiles and RIP software (VersaWorks)
-Monitor print output for quality alignment and color consistency
-Conduct routine maintenance such as printhead cleaning and calibration
-Assist with finishing tasks including trimming laminating mounting and packaging
-Interpret job orders and artwork with precision and attention to detail
-Keep the production area clean and organized
-Adhere to all safety procedures and report equipment issues promptly
Qualifications:
-68 months of experience operating Roland or similar wide-format printers
-Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and VersaWorks RIP software (preferred)
-Understanding of print file setup media types and production workflow
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to high print standards
-Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
-Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing throughout the shift
-High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Skills:
-Experience with finishing equipment (laminators cutters heat presses)
-Knowledge of vinyl application or sign-making
-Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills
