Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean welcoming and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations ensuring all areas are clean well-maintained and meet established standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff providing guidance on best practices for cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and coverage throughout the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Implement inventory control measures for cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional housekeeping support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in floor care industrial cleaning and custodial services.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment used in hotel or industrial cleaning environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to interact effectively with staff and guests.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and safety regulations within the hospitality sector.
