Job Description
Alpha MediainPortland Oregonis seeking a dynamic organized and creativePromotions Managerto support promotional strategy and execution for our stationsKBFF-FM KINK-FM KINKHD-2 KXTG-AM KXL-FM KUPL-FM and KUFO-AM. In this role youll bring our brands to life through contests community events client promotions street team activation and on-air engagement. If you thrive in a fast-paced music-loving environment and know how to make a brand pop on and off the air this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative promotions in collaboration with the Promotions Director that grow audience engagement and enhance brand visibility across radio digital and experiential platforms.
- Collaborate with programming sales and digital teams to create integrated campaigns and sponsorship opportunities.
- Plan and manage station events including remotes concerts festivals and community outreach in collaboration with the Promotions Director.
- Coordinate on-air contesting prize fulfillment and winner communication.
- Maintain promotional calendars recaps and budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients vendors talent and community partners.
- Represent the station(s) at events with energy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in promotions marketing or eventsradio or media industry preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for branding music and live experiences.
- Familiarity with FCC contesting and promotional regulations is a plus.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
