Job Description
We at Leggett & Platt Inc. are searching for a(n) Project Manager within our Bedding Productsteam to help support our US Spring business. Did you know we have been revolutionizing the sleep industry since 1883 Thats right! In fact we hold the original patent on a spiral steel coil bed spring filed way back in 1885. Since then we have been an industry leader in guaranteeing you get the best sleep possible. As a(n) Project Manager you will have the opportunity to work in a team to develop new products and coordinate the process from concept to product launch. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by effectively managing the process to meet design and timeline requirements. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative and values fully the support of a safe work environment.
So what will you be doing as a(n) Project Manager
- Manage development projects to meet both design and timeline requirements.
- Work as a team with Product Engineerings in the development of new products.
- Interface with our prototype and sample teams.
- Develop and maintain project timelines.
- Lead project meeting across multiple teams and functions within the company
- Work closely with our quality manufacturing and sales teams to convert market needs to into production-ready products.
- Maintain project records.
- Provide world class customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Fully support a safe working environment.
- Working onsite in Carthage MO.
To be successful in this role youll need:
- Bachelors Degree or substantial experience and proven track record in project management.
- Excellent Communication skills written and verbal
- Proven track record of providing creative solutions and effective project management
- Proficient with MS Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Things we consider a plus:
- Knowledge of Zoho Projects is a plus.
