The Department of Transportation (DOT) is looking to fill a Senior Analyst position to supervise a small team which provides budget and analytical support as well as dispatch services to the departments Infrastructure Maintenance (IM) Division.Reporting to the Administrative Officer the Senior Analyst works closely with managers and other stakeholders to ensure that IM has the resources necessary to effectively deliver a variety of services to the community. Primary duties include: Leading and managing a team of two Analysts one Staff Specialist and two Senior Office Specialists (both report to the Staff Specialist) Coordinating elements of the Departments $183Moperating budget (expenditure/revenue tracking and budget development and management activities) Coordinating procurement and contract management activities for IM Overseeing the DOT Dispatch Center
Education:ABachelors Degreefrom an accredited college or university
Experience:Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in general management/administrative analytic work in the areas of budget finance grant administration organizational analysis general administration human resources orarelated field in general analytical work.
Acceptable Substitutions:One (1) year ofadditionaleducation above theBachelors Degreelevel may be substituted for one (1) year of the required management/administrative analytic work.
Certifications/Licenses:Possession of a valid State of California drivers license may befor some assignments.
