Job Responsibilities
The Citadel The Military College of South Carolina is seeking two Building/Grounds Specialist to work in the Grounds Department. These roles will assist with the maintenance of all of campus grounds as well as assisting with event set up on campus; the responsibilities will include the following:
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid South Carolina Drivers license is required. Must have relevant experience in ground maintenance and operating grounds related equipment to include; weed eaters mowers and blowers required. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be in good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform the required work. Be able to lift objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds and carry them a distance of 50 feet; must be able to work off of elevated platforms Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Some holiday and weekend work required. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in temperature and humidity extremes including inclement weather. Operates vehicles various lawn and grounds.
