Job Description
RN Cardiovascular Operating Room (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Clinical Judgment:
Conduct accurate assessments; prioritize patient/family needs; develop and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes. - Clinical Inquiry:
Enhance nursing quality through evaluation and participation in evidence-based and performance improvement initiatives. - Caring Practices:
Maintain a safe therapeutic environment; build professional relationships; manage pain to support healing. - Response to Diversity:
Integrate cultural spiritual and lifestyle differences into personalized care plans.
- Proficient in nursing standards patient care procedures and operating room protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology medications and possible adverse reactions.
- Familiar with relevant laws standards and regulations including HIPAA and infection control.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program or 2 additional years of nursing experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in CVOR or a surgical setting.
- License/Certification:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
