Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Network Architect with a proven track record in leading large-scale federal network modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have served as the lead architect for complex IP migration projects-such as the FBIs nationwide infrastructure-and hold a CCIE Collaboration certification. This role demands deep expertise in integrating legacy systems with modern network architectures in secure mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of large-scale IP network modernization projects across federal agencies.

Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate legacy systems with modern scalable and secure network infrastructures.

Collaborate with federal stakeholders engineering teams and vendors to ensure alignment with mission objectives and compliance standards.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams.

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for network transformation initiatives.

Ensure high availability performance and security of enterprise communications systems.
Required Qualifications:

Extensive experience as a lead architect in federal IP migration projects including FBI or similar agencies.

CCIE Collaboration certification (active).

Deep expertise in large-scale network modernization and legacy system integration.

Strong understanding of federal IT compliance standards (e.g. FISMA NIST FedRAMP).

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in secure high-stakes environments.
