Job Title: ERP Project Manager (PeopleSoft)
Location: Eugene Oregon
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to extend
This role requires onsite presence for the first four weeks; following that period the position will transition to remote work. The client can pay for transportation/lodging during this time as well.
Requirements / Must-Haves:
- Extensive experience working with large-scale PeopleSoft ERP systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional Financial and HR teams.
- Skilled in managing user expectations and communicating effectively across departments.
- Some change management experience.
- Experience managing the entire PeopleSoft program including:
- Developing and maintaining roadmaps.
Nice-to-Have:
- Highly preferable to have People Soft but open to others.
- Previous experience working within or supporting a municipal organization.
Soft Skills:
- Strong patience and interpersonal skills essential in an environment where changes are slow-paced and many users are long-time system users.
- Ability to coach and support users in completing their core job responsibilities using PeopleSoft.
- Strong team player who can collaborate across technical and functional teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing and upcoming projects involving PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM FSCM ELM and updated People modules.
- Evaluate the current PeopleSoft ERP structure and support the development of a clear program strategy and role definition.
- Being able to manage People Soft project full-time.
- Making suggestions on upgrades.
- Upgrades and enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders to:
- Assess current usage of PeopleSoft.
- Gather requirements and identify user needs.
- Recommend improvements and assist with change management initiatives (not mandatory but helpful).
- Work with internal teams (developers supervisors etc.) to:
- Review the existing roadmap.
- Help define and refine the scope of a permanent ERP Program Manager role.
- Make recommendations on how to improve workflows and decision-making processes.
