Job Description

Develop and execute balanced soybean supply plans for North America covering the 0-18 month operational horizon aligning supply with demand across various crops and locations.

  • Supply Planning & Optimization: Develop and maintain balanced supply plans considering production capacity demand forecasts and inventory levels. This includes managing allocations creating the Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) and optimizing asset utilization
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Oversee all aspects of quality testing assurance and data analysis ensuring high-quality product for plant operations planning sales and distribution. This includes coordinating sample submissions developing data analysis tools and leading quality process improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with commercial crop production packaging labeling marketing legal product development and seed care teams. Manage vendor relationships for seed sourcing.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead develop and mentor the Seeds Operational Planning team fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. This includes setting ambitious goals implementing strategies and monitoring team performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve planning processes identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives (Planning Excellence & S&OP Excellence) to drive improvements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture or related field.
  • 5-7 years experience in supply chain management quality control or data analysis.
  • 3 years proven leadership experience in a relevant industry.
  • Preferred agriculture or seed industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in demand and supply planning production scheduling.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (QMS ERP SAP Microsoft Office etc.).
