Job Description
Responsible for the development implementation coordination management and monitoring of an effective and on-going Operating Room Program.
Responsible to monitor evaluate and improve the quality of patient care within these programs.
Responsible for the research revision development implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures. Responsible for filling in to work in vacant Registered Nurse positions within the department.
Responsible for excellent communications and management of resources and upholding excellent clinical standards of care.
Acts as a role model for others and maintains excellent and professional relationships.
Qualifications :
- Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- Five years of Operating Room experience
- Current CPR license required
- ACLS & PALS certification
- A solid understanding of the concepts of quality improvement and OR standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with people at all socio-economic and organizational levels
- A hands-on approach to management duties
