We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Kaukauna WI. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with maintenance experience in a manufacturing power or nuclear plant environment. This role is also well-suited for candidates with a background in Chemical Process or Mechanical Engineering.

Reporting to the Operations Manager the Production Supervisor Pulp & Utilities has responsibility for the departments within the Pulp and Utilities operations. These departments include Woodyard Recovery Pulp Mill and Utilities. This position is responsible for ensuring employee safety quality and productivity goals are met within the areas they work in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership for Pulp Recovery and Utilities crews in day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities for the Pulp & Utilities Department.
  • Supervise approximately 25 hourly employees on a rotating shift schedule.
  • Provide guidance to and assist in the development of hourly crew team leaders.
  • Ensure crews work safely follow all safety requirements and identify potential hazards.
  • Assess process effectiveness and assist in identifying potential process improvements.
  • Assist the Training Department in ensuring employee training requirements are met.
  • Provide leadership in emergency situations.

Qualifications

  • Strong process orientation with a focus on process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and direct a team to achieve desired goals.
  • Solid project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office software programs
  • BA in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Work Schedule and Location

  • Location: 600 Thilmany Road Kaukauna WI (On-Site)
  • Schedule: The Production Supervisor will be scheduled on an 8-hour rotating Southern Swing shift in coordination with the crew including day night and weekend shifts.
