Could you be the full-time Electrical Test Engineer (Traction Validation) in West Mifflin PA US were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside innovative dedicated and collaborative teammates. Youll contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of railway systems by developing state-of-the-art test equipment and software. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering quality assurance production) create and review diagnostic software and much more.

Well look to you for:

• Create Test Package Sets for electronic modules both High Power and Low Voltage

• Test Package Set development includes Software Requirement Specification (SRS) Test Fixture and Test Software development using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand

• Create/review component level diagnostic software

• Develop Test Software Documentation to IEEE-1012 standard

• Install equipment perform qualification testing with the customer and provide customer training

• Collaborating with purchasing quality and industrialization functions to ensure successful delivery of equipment to customers

• Opportunity to travel to customer sites located in the US and Internationally.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Experience or understanding of Test Equipment design or related work

• Experience with high power Test Equipment is a plus

• Familiarity with cable modeling software simulation software and product lifecycle management tools

• Knowledge of high power and high voltage testing as well as PCB level testing

• Ability to manage project tasks and adhere to schedules

• Willingness to travel to support project deployment

• Team player mindset.
