Could you be the full-time Electrical Test Engineer (Traction Validation) in West Mifflin PA US were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside innovative dedicated and collaborative teammates. Youll contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of railway systems by developing state-of-the-art test equipment and software. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering quality assurance production) create and review diagnostic software and much more.
Well look to you for:
Create Test Package Sets for electronic modules both High Power and Low Voltage
Test Package Set development includes Software Requirement Specification (SRS) Test Fixture and Test Software development using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Create/review component level diagnostic software
Develop Test Software Documentation to IEEE-1012 standard
Install equipment perform qualification testing with the customer and provide customer training
Collaborating with purchasing quality and industrialization functions to ensure successful delivery of equipment to customers
Opportunity to travel to customer sites located in the US and Internationally.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience or understanding of Test Equipment design or related work
Experience with high power Test Equipment is a plus
Familiarity with cable modeling software simulation software and product lifecycle management tools
Knowledge of high power and high voltage testing as well as PCB level testing
Ability to manage project tasks and adhere to schedules
Willingness to travel to support project deployment
Team player mindset.
