Starting Rate: $25.38 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.17.
Job Duties Include:
- Lead and supervise the overnight housekeeping team from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM ensuring cleanliness of public spaces spa and restaurants
- Perform and oversee detailed cleaning tasks including floor care dusting polishing and washroom sanitation
- Clean and prepare Food & Beverage outlets and delis for the following days operations
- Support coach and monitor performance of colleagues ensuring daily priorities are communicated
- Address guest concerns promptly report maintenance issues and follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Using floor cleaning machines / Shop vac and Buffers etc
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
Qualifications :
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping
- Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (e.g. Micros-Fidelio)
- Proven ability to train and coach staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail with ability to work efficiently and independently
