Overnight Public Spaces Supervisor

Starting Rate: $25.38 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.17.

Job Duties Include:  

• Lead and supervise the overnight housekeeping team from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM ensuring cleanliness of public spaces spa and restaurants
• Perform and oversee detailed cleaning tasks including floor care dusting polishing and washroom sanitation
• Clean and prepare Food & Beverage outlets and delis for the following days operations
• Support coach and monitor performance of colleagues ensuring daily priorities are communicated
• Address guest concerns promptly report maintenance issues and follow all safety and sanitation protocols

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Kneeling pushing pulling lifting
• Using floor cleaning machines / Shop vac and Buffers etc
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps

Qualifications :

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping
• Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems (e.g. Micros-Fidelio)
• Proven ability to train and coach staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail with ability to work efficiently and independently
