ASSYST is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM v9.2 Business Analyst to join our State client in Austin TX.
The ideal candidate will be a crucial link between our business objectives and technology solutions focusing on the implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 specifically the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing (BI) modules. You will be responsible for analyzing business problems gathering user requirements conducting fit-gap analysis and ensuring the successful integration of new and existing systems. This role requires strong analytical skills excellent communication and the ability to thrive in a large collaborative remote team environment.
Job Type: Hybrid (Onsite only on Wednesday) Please Note: Program will only allow candidates who are local to the Austin Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business objectives procedures and challenges to identify and recommend effective solutions.
Conduct comprehensive studies and cost/benefit analyses for alternative system solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders and organizational units to gather and document detailed user requirements for system development or modification.
Perform fit-gap analysis to align business needs with PeopleSoft system capabilities.
Develop detailed functional specifications outlining user needs program functions and required development steps.
Manage data mapping activities for data migration from legacy systems and integration with third-party interfaces.
Execute hands-on end-to-end system and integration testing to ensure functionality and quality.
Create and maintain thorough project documentation including requirement documents process flows and test scripts.
Support user training initiatives and contribute to the development of training materials.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with a large remote project team.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst working with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
Minimum of 8 years of specific experience in implementing PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing (BI) modules.
Minimum of 8 years of experience gathering business requirements and conducting fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts.
Minimum of 8 years of experience performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.
Minimum of 4 years of experience using Microsoft O365 applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio).
Minimum of 2 years of experience collaborating with large teams using MS Teams.
Proven ability to work effectively within a large remote team.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
4 years of experience working with a public sector organization (Federal State or Local Government).
2 years of business analysis experience with the PeopleSoft Asset Management (AM) module.
2 years of business analysis experience with the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) module.
2 years of business analysis experience with the PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL) module.
2 years of experience working with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.
2 years of experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
2 years of experience using SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.
1 year of experience with Jira for issue and project tracking.
1 year of experience working within a Scrum or Agile framework.
1 year of experience with STAT for PeopleSoft change management.
