Description

Under the administrative supervision of the President/CEO the Chief Financial Operating Officer is responsible for the planning direction coordination and overseeing of operational activities of specific departments within the organization ensuring development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization and overseeing all financial operations of the company. The Chief Financial and Operating Officer shall operate in accordance with the policies set forth by the Board of Directors and shall abide by all applicable laws and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversees assigned programs. Ensures that these programs are appropriately staffed and resourced.
  2. Supervise the accounting department and have oversight on all accounting operations including AR AP Payroll Utilization Review insurance and Medicaid billing.
  3. Assist with coordination and completion of the annual financial audit.
  4. Monitors Mirrors revenue cycle processes and benchmarks those processes against industry standards; provides regular reporting as required by management.
  5. Establishes implements and communicates the strategic direction of the organizations operations division.
  6. Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  7. Collaborates with all other divisions and departments to carry out the organizations goals and objectives.
  8. Identifies recommends and implements new processes technologies and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  9. Establishes communicates and implements operations-related policies practices standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
  10. Reviews and approves cost-control reports cost estimates and staffing requirements for projects.
  11. Ensures that expenditures of assigned programs are contained within established budgets.
  12. Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
  13. Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancements.
  14. Collaborate with the President/CEO to set and drive the organizational vision and operational strategy.
  15. Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth.
  16. Support day-to-day operations ensure that the organization runs smoothly.
  17. Oversee operations and project timelines.
  18. Formulates proposals and makes recommendations to the President/CEO and Board of Directors as required.
  19. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or other industry-related field required; Masters Degree preferred but not required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of related experience including three years as ranking executive in a corporate or government setting required.
  3. Knowledge of the behavioral industry or related field is preferred.
  4. Ability to understand interpret and analyze program evaluation data and design.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal skills required as well as ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be adaptable to change and have effective organizational skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams and effectively supervise the work of other independent leaders in a positive enabling way.
  7. Demonstrated ability to analyze/interpret/calculate/forecast data evaluate plans comprehend explain complex information and work with multiple tasks.
  8. Must be able to work in collaboration with the President/CEO and other agency senior executives.
  9. Must be able to pass required security screening.
  10. Employees who have been diagnosed with any type of substance use disorder or behavioral addiction/compulsion must have sustained a minimum of two consecutive years of abstinence from all intoxicating substances and symptoms of their chemical and/or behavioral addiction; and must be in full sustained remission.
  11. Must be proficient in basic computer skills.
  12. Physical requirements would include but not limited to standing walking talking hearing and lifting (40/50 pounds). Walking stairs may be required as well.
