Role Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong knowledge in the Wealth Management domain to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL PL/SQL Power BI and Azure Synapse Analytics with a strong ability to work with databases and generate meaningful business reports. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can interpret financial data and support decision-making through insightful dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data related to wealth management services and client portfolios.
- Build publish and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Hands-on in scripting languages like Python
- Write and optimize complex SQL/PLSQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver relevant insights.
- Develop and automate recurring reporting solutions for performance tracking trends and KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy integrity and proper documentation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights.
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Finance or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Proven experience in the Wealth Management or Financial Services domain.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX Power Query).
- Good working knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Lake or other cloud data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and database design.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-have skills
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with financial data such as AUM client segmentation or investment performance.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance reporting in wealth management.
