Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Permitting Coordinators for a telecom client operating in the Atlanta Metro Area. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with a deep understanding of local county and state permitting regulations. You should have the ability to research and interpret permit requirements coordinate with multiple stakeholders and help ensure that telecom construction projects move forward with the proper approvals in place.
This role supports OSP fiber aerial underground and small cell deployments and involves preparing and submitting permits managing joint-use programs maintaining accurate records and coordinating with both internal teams and external agencies.

This role supports OSP fiber aerial underground and small cell deployments and involves preparing and submitting permits managing joint-use programs maintaining accurate records and coordinating with both internal teams and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit permit applications for aerial underground and small cell telecom infrastructure.
- Research and interpret local county and Georgia state permitting requirements and regulations.
- Secure entitlements for installations within the public right-of-way (ROW) DOT corridors utility easements and private property.
- Engage with municipal county and state permitting authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain accurate permit tracking and records using internal databases and third-party systems.
- Coordinate with internal Engineering Construction and Operations teams to align permitting needs with project timelines.
- Maintain project documentation including inspections billing code compliance and policies.
- Support joint-use notifications and make-ready processes with utility companies.
- Assist in maintaining permit databases spreadsheets and client-facing interface modules.
- Provide support for ad hoc tasks and take initiative to resolve permitting-related issues.
- Proven experience with telecom permitting especially in the Atlanta or Georgia region.
- Familiarity with OSP aerial underground fiber and utility right-of-way requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to research interpret and apply complex permitting rules and guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and permitting or GIS databases.
- Experience with platforms such as AutoCAD GIS or ESRI is a plus.
- Customer-focused highly organized and results-driven.
