Job Description

Job Title:Associate Material Management

Job Code: 26065

Job Location: Clifton NJ

Job Description:

  • Plan schedule and monitor efficient movement of material from warehouse to production floor

  • Develop raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and coordinate material movement with purchasing warehouse and production

  • Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems

  • Negotiate and manage schedules for timely delivery of materials

  • May interpret laws rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for export/import control certifications and licenses

  • Demonstrate the highest level of integrity between transactions

  • Learn new software applications and processes

  • Participate on several cross-functional teams to provide ideas for various changes for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Management Economics Finance Accounting Operations Management General Business Management Business Administration or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in supply chain principles and concepts

  • Knowledge of spend management tools

  • Purchasing insight into buying and selling principles negotiations

  • Exposure to marketing for new product implementation

  • Awareness of different contract types

  • Financial and quantitative analytical skills

  • Commodity management supplier and performance measurement tools and/orexposure to sourcing process Lean/Six Sigma

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role inNew Jerseyis $73000 - $100000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based onfactors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
